In hindsight, it's not worth arguing with most of you.  Enjoy your moment in the sun Little Englanders!  Let's hope all the promises come to fruition and the Eton Buffoon makes Britain great again, whatever the <ovf censored> that means.

So bitter.

Christ on a bike......... idiots on both sides of the divide.

It's a good example of what free speech is (the video).

I don't think she has a clue about what she is saying, I disagree with almost everything she says but she has the right to say it.

I found it odd that someone carrying a socialist worker board would choose capitalist Cameron as a prefered PM...... but each to their own.

I hope Brexit is everything that has been promised.  I am long enough in the tooth to realise that the people making those promises have made a career from telling lies without shame.

The result is accepted, it's happened.  That does not mean that we should just walk away and say nothing, that's not how democracy works.  In a truly democratic society the opposition isnt expected to be silent and just nod along, they are expected to argue the case and in turn that keeps the other side honest.

On this occasion it seems that Brexiteers idea of democracy is more aligned with North Korean ideals where the opposition is crushed, silenced and ignored.

It's very much up to those in power (the brexiteers led by chief brexiteer BJ himself) to unite the country.  Indeed it's only those in power that can unite the country except for one thing, they very much prefer division because the Tory mantra since Maggie has been Divide and Conquer.

I cant wait for the extra £350 Million a week to head to the NHS.  I have been waiting since December 2018 for treatment but what I need has not been available due to funding issues.  I expect a letter next week as funding wont be an issue anymore.  I wont hold my breath like....

Just think what we could have done with the £211 billion net contribution we've given to the gravy train over the years?

Now we can spend it how we want.

What's not to like?

Rather see it spent on opening regional railways

Both are needed, HS2 is a railway motorway, allows long distance trains to travel faster and provide extra capacity on crowded routes,  frees up existing tracks for commuting and freight traffic. Should have been built with the oil money but that is another story. Provides equivalent North South capacity as 2 new M1 motorways, how much land would that take. Seems a lot of money but spread over 15/20 years as an infrastructure project, peanuts in the scale of things for something to last a 100 years or so. The track route and tunnels can take any future system including double deckers as demand increases.

Need to concentrate on sorting out the ones already open first

Cannot we not do more than one thing at once? New lines take years of planning, managing existing ones not so long, new trains quicker to provide  than new tracks.

Work on existing lines needs sometimes years of planning too due to the infrastructure being so old
