Have a closer look…..there are different rules for eu members to none eu members even if both are signed up to the human rights act.

you can scroll through the links

I’ll say again there is no EU Human Rights Act. There is a European Convention on Human Rights which was initially established before the EU. It was established by the Council of Europe.

So if 100,000 have left the UK and returned to the EU because of Brexit, why are they still short of drivers?

Maybe the 100k drivers didn't come from Germany France or Spain? Just a guess based on those numbers.

Because it’s mainly down to Covid and a massive increase in online orders (FACT)

About time companies started investing in training British drivers and trying to keep them long term like they used to do. Many have started, Tesco are doing some fantastic incentives to bring on new drivers. It is always high risk to rely on imported Labour as there will always be new opportunities elsewhere to incentivise those with no real ties over here.

Plenty of drivers in the army if things get too bad.

And here we are, 251 pages in, and the Brexit supporters are telling is everything's ok. The army can deliver food and medicine.

Everything is not ok but it's not completely all down to Brexit, clearly proven by the same shortages experienced in EU countries.

I read German/Swiss news regularly and haven't seen anything about shortages. Not heard any anecdotal evidence from friends in Switzerland, Germany, France and Italy either.

They have a shortage of drivers, yes. But as their shortage is much less than ours it seems the logistics are holding up.

Happy to be corrected if you have some evidence to the contrary.

Here's a link to a Frankfurt newspaper talking about Brexit. No mention of problems in Germany.

GB feels Brexit. Empty shelves, no milkshakes.
