Really hoping that the reason we were so far ahead in the vaccination process wasn't because we rushed it through to be first.

The German report on the AZ vaccine was so flawed their findings were meaningless. Anyone spreading information based on that is purposely spreading fake news for other reasons.

Well well would you believe that. They voted for it in the North East, and are in the process of being let down as did the Fishermen etc etc. This ain’t fake news this is the real world they promised us milk n honey, and we ended up with water n jam.

The country is beginning to realise, the Union Jack boys on here won’t, but perhaps all they ever wanted was sovereignty.

Have they considered the value of all that lovely sovereignty? That will help the people on the breadline in Sunderland.

I hear you can use it to buy food and electricity post Brexit!

No they aren't, people can pass information on in good faith without having any agenda whatsoever.

Its a bit Trumpopian to imply what you have, which is ironic.

Yeah I’m sure it’s all good faith with the daily express. Funny how the vaccine they wanted to go to court to get more of us now now effective.
The report from Germany saying the AZ vaccine was only 8% (or something like that) effective was shown to be not worth the paper it was written on when it was released. If a journalist is going back to use it, it’s because it fits the headline he wants. I’d argue it’s more ‘trumpopian’ to defend bad science.

The End of UK Fishing? Brexit Destroying Coastal Towns

Heart-breaking stuff. Stand out moments for me were "The EU now have more control over our fishing than before Brexit" and the disdain shown for the government's insistence that this is all just teething problems.

Heart breaking indeed, but an empty building, no customers and no fish isn't what Sailors Creek Shellfish are saying on their Facebook page.

So it’s all fake news?  The Whitstable Oyster company were on the other night, they have to get rid of their Oysters, because they cannot export them into France. This was all so predictable, the farmers will be next screaming. Who in their right mind would follow Farage, Johnson, Gove, Mogg etc?

I have just been on their Facebook page... they are marketing local sales hard, probably to make up for the crippling impact of losing all their exports to the EU. I think the point is that they wont be able to make up the difference... or even more importantly, they were promised they wouldn't have this problem. But once again... that was a lie.

So I don't get your point... what is it?

I aren't arguing that the published Journo should not be fact checking.  Nor and I defending the likes of the Express.  I was just commenting that people will pass on published stories in good faith - I think we are at crossed purposes here so my apologies.

Don’t disagree at all. I do think that that there is also some attempts to save face by some European leaders though. And this is coming from an ardent remainer.
