Gibbons has to get through a further 13 league games without getting booked to avoid a 2 match ban - doubt he will do that somehow.

For 5 bookings it’s wiped clean after 19 games. For 10 bookings it’s after 37. We have only played 24 league games so he has to managed 13 more league games without a booking to avoid a two match ban.

I think It’s safe to say he’ll be picking up that tenth before the cut off date. Which gives someone else a chance, but I personally feel that none of the cover in the squad is able to stake a claim to his shirt.

Would play Bennett or Archer, also bring Atkinson in for Burgess, just to rest the Pope and Burgess. Also would try to give Archer some game time, dont know why he wasnt in the squad on Sunday??.

I’d imagine Will Atkinson will slot into right back when Gibbo gets his two match nan pretty soon. I’d be fine with that.

This game could be every bit as tough as it was against Swindon. We're big favourites in this one, especially playing at home, so the pressure is on. Had we lost against Swindon it would have been dissapointing but if we competed at least it would have been easy to say that they are top of the league and it's no biggie. Macclesfield will put 10 men behind the ball and make it as difficult as possiblel, so the first goal will be vital. I think they have a few good players despite their position so won't be surprised if there's only a goal in it. But how many times have we followed up a great result with a shocking performance? Hopefully tomorrow won't be one of those occassions.
