Not much to say really. We haven't got near to top gear yet but are still top of the Premier League and have quality on the bench for the first time in years. Even when we don't play well at all we don't lose, like that game against United in which they celebrated like they'd won the Champions League after getting a point at home.

I was listening to the Brighton - Everton game last night and was a tad bemused hearing the commentators state how difficult it must be for the players having to contend with driving wind, rain and a slow pitch.

Poor diddums. How would they have coped at Vale Park?

Strangely enough a flock of seagulls paid a visit during the Stevenage game, sheltering from the sea breezes? I missed yesterday so cannot give a twitter response 😀

While most of you lot have been enjoying the "delights" of Crewe, I'm in London for the weekend so decided to chalk a ground off and have been to the London Stadium for West Ham against Newcastle. Despite all the criticism it gets, I liked the stadium and was witness to a truly inept Hammers performance. The set piece goals they conceded were horrific and I'd have been furious if Vale had let them in. TBH Newcastle didn't have to do much to beat them and should have been four up at the break. They almost let West Ham back into the game but the three points are heading North and Mrs Jackson's perfect day is complete.
