Although the game will probably not be screened live in the UK, it will get beamed around the world so surely we will get some of the income from that.

That's a fair point. I believe we got a fortune from Scandinavian TV for the Spurs game in 1988 as that was screened live by them even though it wasn't in the UK.

It may be on here too as ESPN + are showing the FA Cup .  I watch them on Apple TV. This past weekend , they showed 8 matches and all the highlights as well. Fingers crossed it will be on .

As well as the finance bonus, if we give a good account of ourselves as a club, I wonder what would be the chance of getting a young prodigy on loan for the remainder of the season. A player similar to Tony Sealy would be nice. Rudgie needs to get that magical old flat cap out of retirement.

I recall Chelsea playing a lower league team in the cup and they gave them all the proceeds from programme sales as well as their fee.

I would imagine part of the project income from the game would be extra items bought from the club shop, such as flags, scarfs and shits...etc

Are we talking about the lad who ran on the pitch at Crewe? I don't know who would want to buy him.

That Foden fellow might be able to challenge to get game time for us.

Jesus versus The Pope what better divine intervention could we get?

They could well have an Angelino on the pitch as well.

Just hope the money is used wisely. I'd rather not spend it in January unless we get the players we really want. A long history of windfalls being wasted in the window on players teams end up being stuck with.

Maybe we could have a bucket collection to buy him an up to date shirt.

Has he been banned yet for running on the pitch trying to wind up the Vale fans?
