The game is played so much differently in league 2 than the premier league with many things going unpunished that in the prem would get free kicks. With refs like Mason and Dean I fear they will officiate it like a premier league game where all physical contact virtually ends up with a free kick.

I fear you’re absolutely right on this worrying point.

Capacity 55 thousand ,51 thousand 800 sold I make it

We never manage to get 55k because of segregation.  Wiki has the record crowd at the Etihad as 54,693.  The game against Sheff Utd was sold out, but the official attendance was 54,512.

Have Vale sold out? Last I heard tickets were on sale to fans on a personal application basis.

VAR has made player theatrics much worse.  Now every challenge results in a player going down.  City players don't tend to do this, but some clubs are doing it.   Generally I think City players are very fair and likeable.

I've no idea what im going to do if we even get close to scoring sat in the home end.

Have you never sat in a home end with Vale away before? There is little choice but to keep quiet or even smile as the home  goals go in. You will have some idea of the passion around you, that usually keeps me quiet.

Most football fans tend to like Guardiola's sides because the football is good to watch.  There are other sides who play cynical football.  City almost always play good football.  We don't have players who dive and cheat, kick the opponent off the pitch, or scream in the face of the referee.

Won't be long before Radio Stoke proudly announce their carpet coverage of the Man City game,I can remember a time it took them all their efforts to mention us,never mind cover the game.

Hypocrites the lot of them,Ray Williams moaning that we will be defensive and Sproson talking up Taylors price and hammering Gibbo in the process.

I could never go in a home end, not only do you have to keep quiet if vale score, if you don’t celebrate when the home team scores, then that’s a big giveaway.
