Brian Melzack has just tweeted

"another new chairman at Port Vale???????"

Who would want this role with all going on at the moment ... may be it's Glenn

It seems that the letters the vile four received of the SC solicitors, havn't made much headway through their thick sculls, its either that they think everything that they have done is legal, or they are making sure the SC run out of funds to chase them any further. I'v heard again today, that Stephan Plant is to replace Peter Miller, I'm now believing this could well be true.

i dont know much about this stephan plant, but if he brought with him a significant sum of investment would the majority still not be happy that he was working with the current lot? hypothetically, could it be the lesser of two evils? just a thought, i'm backing mo and mark

The only significant thing Plant could bring to the club, would be his blood alcohol level.

Here's how it works.

A whole bunch of numpty's will be in a room, in the middle of a room will be a chair ( THE CHAIR ).

Some music will play and they will all circle the room. When the music stops they will all rush for THE CHAIR. Whoever gets there first and sits down on THE CHAIR wins and is therefore The CHAIRman.

This is how these things are now decided at the Vale.

I have dealt with Stephen Plant over the years with private house sales and business matters. I have always found him to be a decent, intelligent and helpful man.

I can't for the life of me understand why he would want to get into bed with these idiots???

But......you just never know do you..

Im sure when paying for his services he is decent, intelligent and helpful man

Plant's a Bratt man and the old guard are said to be against this current incarnation.

I'd be very surprised if Plant is to get involved but if he does it should set alarm bells ringing to indicate a ploy to get the old guard back.

I don't think Plant's that bad, he's just been taken for a complete mug by his mate Lord bratt and can't see it. We visited him in his local and tied him in knots over Bratt, Mo and all the politics of that time. He knew nothing of the true picture, just regurgitated Bratt mis-information. We rather embarrassed him clarifying Mo's share purchase, should he take control. He hadn't considered that to gain 51%, the amount goes up due to share %-age purchase. He thought Mo could get control for £600k because there were then £1.2M of shares in circulation. Durrrrrr

That sounds like a person who could be taken for a ride by Bratty.
