You are right JRC Jake will see us as a useful stepping stone and shop window as he still isn't the finished article  before moving on to better things. Hopefully with a Hughill like pay off for the Vale. Depends how Forest want to play it . They may want another loan deal so as if the progress continues he can rejoin them a better player and he is still their asset. Equally a portion of the Man City money may be a wise investment to purchase him.

Hope we can get him, give Forest any sell on % or whatever they want as it would be superb to watch him play in a Vale shirt week in week out 'til he moves onwards and upwards, he showed again yesterday what an excellent player he is and he is the quality of player who will get Vale into Lge 1 and beyond.

How he won the ball yesterday, controlled it and had the awarness to play an inch perfect weighted pass to Amoo in the lead up to Vale's goal  was sheer class, hope there were no scouts at VP yesterday.

I have much empathy for Scott Burgess who is a good prospect in his own right but being overshadowed by Taylor at the moment

I thought it was Gibbo who supplied the pass to Amoo.

It also depends how Taylor and Sproson want to play it too. They know he is in demand. They hold all the cards right now, especially if clubs in the league above are looking at him. There are lots of scouts at every game anyway so I’m pretty sure players like him, Smith and Gibbo are being watched.

Rumour is he's going to Brentford. Good business for him if true, but it leaves us with a problem.
