Vintage Vale Adverts - starting next week

Looking through my collection of Vale programmes, there are some cracking adverts in the matchday programmes especially in the 50's and 60s. Many are for local businesses which probably don't exist any more and more often than not they contain a Port Vale reference or pun.

Here's one to kick it off:

In this age of sustainable transport wouldn't it be an idea to link Burslem to the national rail network again, if only to get fans to and from VP? I saw how it regenerated one place where I used to live when the railway station was reopened and it wouldn't be too difficult to do technically.
