Eleven changes as Port Vale revert back to regular League line-up

Port Vale manager John Askey has made eleven changes from the Football League Trophy clash with Newcastle as he reverts back to his favoured League line-up.

Mark Cullen, who scored twice in the midweek win is named on the bench in preference to Jordan Archer. Richie Bennett starts upfront against his former club.

Sure absolutely terrible decision to pick a fit player over two players recovering from injury. After all, we've not just had recent experience of rushing people with injures back too soon (*coughs "Manny Oyeleke"). 

What an appalling decision by John Askey to pick a squad so poor they can only pick up three points against Carlisle and their fourth win in a row. He's clearly lost the plot..
