Is Jurgen Klopp bringing the game into disrepute by refusing to manage his team against Shrewsbury in next weeks FA Cup replay at Anfield?

Klopp and Guardiola are trying to get rid of both the FA Cup and the League Cup. The Greed is Good League doesnt want any distractions. Poor things have to have their winter breaks.  The sooner they sod off to a super league, the better.

I have no sympathy with Klopp on this, he has a large squad so as to rotate and rest players, if he cant show up for the Shrews replay because it is beneath him to supervise the reserves, it is a pretty poor show.

Pep doesn't realise the less attractiveness of Fulham compared to Port Vale, the local rivalry and the need for revenge against the club that dumped Citeh into L1.

Nice to see that Klopp could find the time to make an appearance at Stamford Bridge tonight. How good it was of him to honour supporters with his presence tonight.

He nearly even paid some token respect to the worlds oldest competition by only making seven changes from saturday’s defeat at Vicarage Rd.

Mind you to be fair to the German, Citeh are breathing down the dippers necks with a mere 22 points seperating first and second in the Greed Is Good League. You can’t expect him to take too many chances with team selection can you ?

I used to like Herr Jurgen, but in my book he’s now gone the same way as the equally nauseating Senor Guardiola.

Oh for the days of Jimmy Sirrell, Jim Smith et al when you could relate to managers and actually enjoy listening to their comments,  rather than wanting to hit them with a wet fish.

That is assuming of course that you could understand Sirrell in the first place.

It would be great if they could reduce the number of teams qualifying for the champions league by their position in the premier league by 2 so that the winners of the 2 cups qualify instead. 

The cups would then have a lot more meaning to the top clubs.

Quite like the idea of the fifth round being mid week. Not something for the third round but this round is about right.
