I try to be "sensible" it was the unsubstantiated "every time he speaks in public, he lies" that I took exception to.  Even Johnson's sometimes fast & loose association with the truth isn't EVERY time he opens his mouth--he sometimes will tell you some actual truths and has even been known to give you the correct day of the week!  I've never claimed that he's an angel--he certainly wasn't my choice for party leader, but unlike a lot on here who will not say that of Corbyn & Co, I do make a serious attempt  to stay on the objective side of 'sensible'!

This only proves my assertion about his weesily words--he "apologises for the hurt to Jewish people" in the most abstract, third party way--he WASN'T apologising for anti-semitism in the Labour party--he has only done that this week at long last. Why do you think the Chief Rabbi 10 days ago was still calling him out for not apologising if he thought Corbyn's words in that Guardian article were sufficiently contrite? Read the article you've linked carefully and see what I (and the Chief Rabbi) didn't see--atruly contrite apology for the anti-semtism within Labour ranks--he was only  attempting to deflect the criticism not face it head on.  As Andrew Neil, proved in his forensic interview, the claim by Corbyn that all anti-semitic cases within the Labour party "are being dealt with" clearly NOT the truth!

Did you look at the video?  You should have said which specific words you wanted in his apology.  "I'm sorry for the hurt that has been caused to many Jewish people", seems like an apology to Jewish people for the hurt caused by the anti-semitic abuse they had received from Labour members.  He then apologises for being too slow in dealing with the matter.  What specific words should he have used to satisfy you?
