Honestly Joe, although the anti-semitism thing has been around Corbyn for a while, I'd always thought it was a cheap way of the right playing the left at their own game. Turning racism/discrimination into a game, making gross exagerations and giant leaps to try and convince people that the other side was evil.

It is used as a way to void peoples arguments, even those which have nothing to do with race/sex/religion etc.

I even started on this forum using it, not completely seriously, as a way to illustrate to people on here that misusing and deliberally mis-applying definitions of racism and discrimination should apply to "their side" as well.

I have to say I had seriously underestimated the problem within the labour party, and i've gone from thinking that Corbyn is an unfortunate buffoon who had simply muddled his way through dealing with unfair accusations, to thinking that there is something more sinister going on.

If you have any interest at all, there's a few twitter accounts with all of the social media screenshots and leaked "disciplinary" letters from Labour. They reckon that there's evidence of anti-semtic behaviour from 30 (THIRTY) of the current crop of Labour parliamentary candidates. Admittedly a handful of those are "merely" supporting other accused labour members, but still, the evidence on the others is staggering.

Corbyn has been endorsed by Andrew Anglin (An american neo-nazi and founder of the daily stormer) and Nick Griffin (of BNP fame).

The Jewish Labour Movement (who instigated the institutional racism investigation into Labour) dossier has been leaked now.

https://www.scribd.com/document/438367082/Redacted-JLM-Closing-Submission-to-the-EHRC

-70 sword statements from serving and ex-labour officials

-Additional 100+ testimonies from other labour members, both Jewish and non-jewish

-136 outstanding anti-semitism complaints within Labour as of October, with an additional 100+ never having been logged as an official complaint. (though labour deny these figures)

And the book I mentioned - Corbyn actually wrote a foreword in 2011, as reported by the times:

the work was a “great tome”, praising Hobson’s “brilliant, and very controversial at the time” analysis of the “pressures” behind western, and in particular British, imperialism at the turn of the 20th century.

The book referenced a conspiracy theory about how banks were being being used by Jews to influence society.

I've always thought it was slightly over-egged/focused on in comparison to the other parties (as they all seem to have similar issues), but the more I've read into it the more I've become a tad concerned by it all.

Your comments do seem to be back up by fact.

If Labour had someone remotely credible (Starmer springs to mind) my choice would be fairly simply, as I largely sit a tad left of centre (though not much), but Corbyn massively puts me off.

As people have said, I'm in a safe Tory seat so my vote is utterly meaningless, but I've been raised to always exercise my democratic right and at present I'll be voting for the least damaging party.

I feel we have to make a very important decision about the kind of country we want to live in.

Not far left or far right..... not even leaning far left or far right.... highlights a bit of a dilema.... none of the leaders are worthy of a vote.

So it was a Labour policy that set him free?

Was the automatic release designed to cut overcrowding in prisons? To avoid building new prisons?.... seems ludicrous to me ... did the automatic release apply to sentencing guidelines? ie, guidelines 4 to 6 years automatic release after half served? So maximum possible 3 years which is below guideline minimum?

It is up to the Govt  in power over the last 9 years to keep the country safe, auto release is restrained for very serious offences and terrorism in any case. Inadequate management was the cause. The buck no longer counts, cover ups and lies rule the day.

It's interesting isnt it, as time has gone on during this thread we are building up a picture of the characters who blindly follow Brois and I suppose its no surprise that they share some of his traits.

This country is being held back by a group of mysoginist men desperately clinging to power.  Maybe that's why May's deal was so unpalatable to most of you demanding brexit to be done, because the deal was brokered by a woman.  I wonder if Mr May have her permission to talk to the EU?

You're at it again, think about what you are saying before you criticise others.

Mysogynist men?You are supporting a political party that hasn't elected a woman leader in 119 years.

Hypocrisy springs to mind.

Still no comment about the appalling record Boris has?

Just keep besmerching everyone else instead in true Tory fashion.

Eat, sleep, lie, repeat - the Tory mantra.

You never learn do you.

Appalling records?

I give you Labour's last three goverments.

Look at the last few posts, it just summarises the dire situation we are in the Tories are about to get elected, their leader is nothing short of a lying Buffoon, who has conned everyone. We will not agree a Brexit deal just crash out, that is why Mogg and the rest of ERG are keeping quiet.

And then there is Corbyns Labour, just totally unelectable. As they say the choice is yours.

Management problem , sentence applied against and reduced by a year, links missed, profile of prisoner Prison amended  overlooked, etc. I would have expected sign off of release of a terrorist of his standing to be at ministerial level, On whose desk we are unlikely to know, but for a law and order party a major slip up.

Well, if the polls are right and some on here get there way we are about to experience a government that will make the milk snatchers seem like socialists.

Never put your faith in the polls, it's not over untill someone sings.

Look on the bright side, if the Tories win jezza will be gone and labour can get themselves sorted out, but they had better do it quick because I don't think the Tories will last long.
