Can’t get to the game, coming from Sandbach. M6 backed up southbound, A500 flooded, A34 flooded and impassable between Sandbach and Rode Heath, A50 closed between Alsager and Kidsgrove, A34 closed between Alsager and Talke as flooded at Linley Bridge...
No trains through Alsager (flooding) and buses cancelled. Turning round and going home!

Fans booing because a player has decided to keep the ball and go backwards is disgraceful IMO. Some of our fans are terrible. Its not just today either.

agree fans shoudnt boo but also frustration can take hold i'm sure for some,,joyce in one instance tried to turn back but the path was blocked by an oppo player yet if the first touch had been forward we were straight onto their back line..its kinda a default and makes us predictable and allows the oppositions time to reset get organised then harder to breakdown its about getting the balance right and making the most of the opportunities to get behind the other teams defence before they get re-organised

gerrards slip isn't why they didn't win the league - palace(3 up) n wba away (1 up) were the main reason

Whatever the reason I'm not even quite sure what Gerrard/Liverpool has got anything to do with Taylor missing possibly the easiest chance he will ever get to score a goal in his career, however long he plays for.

It’s easy to say with our view of the game though. Opportunities and different options  come and go during a match and there’s usually more than one option for a player when he has the ball. But when they’d rather keep it than try and force a pass or waste it then that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but to boo them for that is just crazy IMO. I wonder what goes through a players mind when they keep possession and get booed.

Players however good they are make mistakes Gerrard slipped when he should have stayed on his feet, Taylor missed when he should have scored,it would be a funny game if no mistakes were made.

At the end of the day we were the better team, but didn't do enough to deserve the win. And they could have nicked it. Their bloke second half missed a bigger sitter than Taylor. We were just too slow and over complicating things. Back and sideways is okay at times, but too much of that today. Have to mix it up a bit more. City score goals from a hoof from the keeper now and again.

Bennett was never in the game.

Disappointing but 4 points from the last two games, take it. And stuff Crow next weekend with Wozza back.

Actually nobody played that bad. It was more we were all 6.5 today and 8.0 Tues. Happens. It's a tight league, when we're on it we can match anyone (bar Exeter so far). If not, we are much of a muchness.

Like today. Monty deserved MOTM for me.

Considering Manfield beat them six I think this 0-0 is slighty disappointing...maybe the difference was we didn't play Popeball from the start

I'm always disappointed when we don't win aren't you?

If you don't have a full range of weapons in you're arsenal you ain't going to shoot much.
