I'm not happy about giving it away but mid table sounds good considering where we were starting from

Brings on Lloyd and they equalise from from a right wing cross.

When will Askey realise Lloyd needs sending out on loan to Kidsgrove or Leek.

We could have signed Durrell but he signs Lethargic Lloyd.

No, we should not have signed Durrell as he is injury prone, and we already have a few issues in that department, however, Lloyd isn't the answer either.

This team has shown we can be better than mid table and days like this shows we are a club that is on the way up, but we need to give it time and a few of the players need to grow into their positions and not switch off at times.

Yes, we're a work in progress and I'm positive we'll improve but this draw, coming yet again from a last minute equaliser, and from yet another cross from the right, feels like a defeat. A real weekend wrecker!

Well there is always Bryn/ Brin to look forward to as Sjoke are bottom again on P&G.

Agree with CambridgeDon, it feels like a defeat rather than a point gained away from home.  Thought they were going to snatch the win at the end.

It’s so infuriating to think where we’d be if we hadn’t conceded some of the injury time goals we have done already. I reckon we’ve done ourselves out of about 10 points already 🤬🤬🤬

Can someone check if Lloyd is Askey's love child.  Must have something over the staff to keep coming on.  What do they see in Lloyd that we are missing?

On the tube back to the car but we threw that away. We sat deeper, the front 3 went missing a bit, they changed their formation to keep Gibbons in and we didn’t react to that at all. A whole half of us being virtually penned in and Askey did nothing to change it. Their equaliser should never have happened, Legges on the penalty spot with no one near him and I’m sure it could have ran to brown. Instead he headed it away, they put the cross back in and Legge hadn’t got back with his man who scored. If I’m correct Gibbo is banned now after that booking which looked a travesty, their player dives, Gibbo shouts at him whilst he on the floor. Their player grabs his throat. The referee should clamp down on the divers.

Don't know about a tale of two halves more like a tale of 2 headers. Awful header from Crookes, it should have been put out instead of straight to the feet of their most dangerous player who buried it. Hopefully Crookes will have learned something fro that. Poor header from Leon Legge but Scott Brown should have given him a shout to leave it, damn frustrating.

Brilliant goal from Jake Taylor, at last we have a forward player on loan who has real quality, struggling to think of a better performance by a Vale outfield  player for some time.

Scott Brown has been immense for the Vale since he came to the club but for me he's going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment, not suggesting he be dropped for one moment.

If there's one thing JA has done since he's been manager it's to make Vale a much more entertaining team to watch, sometimes too freakin' entertaining.
