Every time this man opens his mouth he just confirms what I’ve always thought of him, a complete buffoon.

PVFC Will always be in the limelight and for a few thousand ppl are more important than he’s ever been. He doesn’t look like a football fan so spouting off again about something he knows very little about.

As for the Vale, their double over Man C in 1997/8 relegated them to L1 for the first time ever.

I don’t think it’s too much to get het up over is it ? It’s a pity he chose us to convey his point, but his analogy is probably correct.

On a similar note, does anyone remember that national newspaper  advert (for some product I forget) when we were literally bottom of Division 4 in the very early eighties ish.

The point of the advert was to say that “couldn’t possibly happen could it ?”, but the “photo” featured the Wembley scoreboard on Cup Final day reading “Port Vale 5 Liverpool 0” ! 

Anyone have a better memory than me ?
