Former Notts County player Will Patching on trial with Port Vale

Port Vale manager John Askey has confirmed that former Notts County player Will Patching is on trial with the club.

Patching was released by County at the start of the season and is looking for a new club.

Askey told the media: “Will started his career at Manchester City and is a very promising young player. For whatever reason it didn’t work out for him at Notts County and he is one that popped up on the radar.
