No way, JA has experience at this level. MO basically is managing a part time team. Stoke need to make shrewd signings, he has never spent a clubs money in anger!

What's plain and obvious is all their principal targets didn't fancy it and this lad is Plan Q.

Pulis, Hughton, McCarthy, Neil; eerily similar to when Rowett and Quinchez Flores turned them down the year they got relegated.

I too, like Doha, am enjoying Stoke fans attempting to make excuses for O'Neill drink-driving when 6 months ago they were frothing at the mouth to 'get Berahino sacked' as he was a poor role model and bad person.

Genuinely reckon Vale fans wouldn't have this sort of nonsensical appointment. A bloke who has successfully spun beating Ukraine at the Euros in 2016 into 'I've had a fantastic career, me'.

Nathan Jones has a better CV. All this man has got is an Irish title and beating Ukraine. Incredible. He's got as many drink drive convictions as he has titles, and that title was achieved at a lower level than Askey's Conference win with Macclesfield.

Must say, Special Operative Coates is doing sterling work over there with these fresh recruits. How does he manage to get such quality? Have the unwashed not cottoned on?
