Quite an even first half, both sides have had one good chance each that’s forced the respective keepers in to very good saves. Other than for the first quarter of an hour we struggled a bit to get to grips with their wing back system, they’ve split our midfield wide apart at times but haven’t taken advantage of that space. Their main tactic is to get it and give it a big switch to the their right wing back, they’ve got in behind Crookes a couple of times there and caused us some concern. After that first 15 mins I think settled down and kept it well, but we’ve been a bit wasteful. Gibbons in particular has got acres of room and times and we’re just not switching it quickly enough. Amoo and Monty need to start to switch on a bit to their threat from the wing backs too, especially Amoo, they’ve been half asleep sometimes. I’d like to see them get down that line a bit more as well because I think they’ve got the beating of them down the sides. These aren’t that great at all.

Stewarding here is a bit of a joke too, loads of fans standing right by the pitch where they shouldn’t be standing, causing some arguments with those fans who can’t see the pitch because of it. Stewards are doing nothing to sort the problem. Facilities behind the away end are nowhere near big enough to cater for so many away fans too. Tidy looking little ground though.
