Clearly we are showing we can compete with anyone in this league. Just need a bit more luck and compusure in front of goal and we'll do o'rate this season. If nothing else we are proving hard to beat and that's a fair improvement on what we have been used to.

Cullen and Pope up top in midweek please, John.

I agree, set out with the two up top in home games and set up how we do away

Disappointed that we cannot turn our chances into goals. We are certainly pressing more and look dangerous when attacking so I'm hopeful the tide will turn soon and we will give someone a real hiding.

Yesterday we had chances to gain the 3 points. I think many fans would have taken a point anyway.
What is most worrying for me is that we still carry too many players every match that offer next to nothing in quality or nous. We do not appear to be working well as a team, whereas Salford all looked up for it.
Our coaching in respect of throw ins is absolutely abysmal. We never gain any advantage from throw in and no one wants to create a space for the thrower to throw to. time after time we lose the ball and allow the opponents momentum.
IMO Leon Legge was immense yesterday. Smith was solid alongside him. Amoo started excellent but faded. Worrall ran his nuts off again but come on he ought to be wide, NOT in the middle of the midfield.
Chris Neal was superb for them and thwarted us several times.
Tremendous support from the travelling Valiants even though we were penned in, in an inadequate  stand with facilities that were totally shambolick.
On we go and we are unbeaten and looking far more resilient but having said that we still show signs of frailties that need addressing if we are to climb the league.

When Worrall was out wide people on here were literally crying for him to be in the middle.

The way I see things, had we played these under Aspin without Oyeleke in the starting 11 would anyone have given us a Cat in Hells chance?

3 points midweek and I think it's been a very encouraging, albeit far from perfect, start to the season.

Really disappointed to throw away the win so late, this is maybe clouding my feelings re the side.

It's no use keeping on saying we should have won/ we didn't and that's quite worrying particularly as we have had the chances to kill games.

Do we have enough attacking quality, I'm not sure. I am a bit confused as to why we sign 11 and start 1 (Amoo) with the exception of Crookes who was here last term?

We need a decent win lets hope its Tuesday.

Legge was immense at Salford

With Bennett coming off the bench and scoring it can only be good for the team pope knows he needs to start scoring or he'll be on the bench. Monty is so frustrating gives the ball away so much he needs to push up more and support the striker especially when the ball is in the air take a gamble and make a run now and then past the striker

We said that during the game too. He didn’t seem to anticipate or gamble when the ball went up to Pope or Bennett.

I can’t understand people wanting Worrall in the middle at all. What does he offer there? Because he doesn’t score goals and doesn’t create them. He’s a strange one wozza is. Works hard like hannant but end product?

Gutted not to win yesterday - we should have had that game in the bag with the chances not taken.

Really think we need to be more street wise managing the game but what really pleases me over the past two games I've seen is what a good side we look WHEN we pass the ball. That 1st win can't far away then I think this side can get a lot better with a little more belief in the pattern of play.

Was very impressed by our central midfield Joyce,Colon and Worrall who I thought where all excellent.

Love Pope but sorry can't see how he can be anything other than an impact sub for last 20 mins with the way we play, unless we go 442..Defo need another striker who can run in behind and stretch the play.

there was one attack bennett won the ball flicked it on but nobody was there straight away he looked over at monty to say where the bloody hell are you, not just monty thought amoo or Worrall as well, same when pope was on the pitch he went over to the side of the penalty area to win a ball he won it and when he crossed the ball into the box there was nobody there the other 3 have got to anticipate and take gambles on where the ball might end up and we might start scoring more goals, the goal we scored yes Salford gave the ball away but all 3 were attacking together creating abit of panic in there defence

Worrall had a decent game in the middle yesterday , I wasn’t impressed with Salford yesterday the team or the facility’s at the ground . I wonder if there is an argument for keeping Worrall with manny in the middle when he gets back from injury ? I fail to see what conlon adds to the team tbh

Stupidest post of the day would probably and should probably go to you. For shouting someone down for daring having a different opinion.

Im comfortable enough to stand my ground and say I pay my money the same as anyone else. So IN MY OPINION I need to see more before I am convinced that we have improved.

I find us really boring to watch. If I’m honest it’s hard work. And I’m not alone in saying that. We can’t take a throw in for god sake. That’s where my concern comes from. Simple parts of the game and we make them look difficult.

Just to note Askey promised us high press, high tempo, attacking football and wanted pace with the ball on the floor. I haven’t seen any evidence of any yet. Only one of Askeys signings makes the starting line up yet the stand out performers for me so far are legge, smith and gibbons.

Try to have a good day though Iron Curtain, I know how frustrating it can be when people don’t conform to your rule Mein Fuhrer.

I love that people think they can slate one or more of the following: the team, the players, the signings, the manager... yet you slate one of their posts by pointing out how stupid it is and they turn into babies that get all upset and mard arse about it.

Harden up snow flake... if you fly the flag for opinions be prepared for people to give your theirs!
