How much longer can Crwho keep supporting Dario

Tommy, I don’t think for one second that those mentioned think that nothing untoward has gone on. They are simply in a lockdown situation as all the birds have come home to roost. The cat is now out of the bag. or any other idiom that may come to mind.

I suspect that the ownership would throw Gradi to the lions if it was to save their own mealy skins.

And they may yet do so.

So from the article, he knew he was inappropriately touching them, wasn’t horrified by it, and would have defended him because he was ‘good with kids’? ‘He didnt rape them or anything”.

crewe message board has two comments on it, one from a vale fan another saying ‘how could Crewe have known’. Heads in the sand.

Taking the local rivalry out of it and any comments at Crwho themselves I think it highlights a huge problem in football which needs fully flushing out and fully investigating, sadly it doesn't seem to be an 80's problem in just football by recent revelations in various fields but all clubs need to investigate and ensure nothing can ever happen like that again.

Crewe's supporter forum tonight and the reaction of John Bowler the Chairman...

On Gradi........

"This is not the time to comment until the FA enquiry is completed. Then we will be able to challenge how I think it has been handled unfairly in the press.”

On Bennell............

Bowler said: “The FA has an enquiry ongoing which we have been fully involved with, and we are expecting that to be reporting by the autumn. We felt that when that enquiry is done that would be our opportunity to say what we have to say.

“We felt we would wait, but when that reply is in it will be a time to say what we have to say.”

Just announced that Dario Gradi has "retired from the positions he held at Crewe Alexandra"

In other words, Gradi is nothing to do with us anymore therefore we don't have to investigate what's gone on before, not that we're saying anything has gone of course. Move along nothing to see here.

Odious club that's rotten to the core.

This is one hell of a cover up by Crewe Alex. Why would they take this course of action. Hmmmmmm

Crewe Alexandra would like to thank Dario for his outstanding 36 years of service to the football club and are pleased to know that he would be happy to continue to assist the club’s senior coaching staff with his invaluable experience in the future.

Let it go Dario. You’ve been struck off. The FA retired you three years ago.
