To stop dossers turning up in clothes.

Well I would rather every corporate seat be sold out, its revenue to the club.

How do you want to reduce other areas of revenue ( and why) ?

There definitely should be a dress code.

Nah, we should just leave out a trough of baked beans and garnish it with a couple of dead dogs.

Are people not going to buy tickets in the corporate area because they need to put a shirt on?

Is the code related to the standard of catering? Good restaurant or good pub standard, some clubs cater for 2 or 3 standards. Celebratory occasion or light snacks?

No idea

Every ticket is sold

Id suggest the area with 100% capacity is the least area to worry about, far from it

PS, shirts are not mandatory under the proposed new code

It doesn’t have to be a shirt as in a collar and tie shirt,  smartish tee shirt is acceptable.I usually wear blue or black jeans also.

They didn't pay for much at all really. But they were (very unfortunately) ambassadors for the club.😉😉

Miller didn’t wear a suit, he wore a slightly altered barrage balloon.

Having stepped back for a couple of hours to digest this thread, this dress code idea has started to boil my P155.  So much so that I’m in two minds if to protest at the first home game by wearing a suit in the Bycars to show solidarity with the VIP’s up there in the gods.

So if anyone spots a slimmer, balder, slightly more pished version of Rab C Nesbitt in The Bycars on Sat you’ll know why.

Ridiculous comment

The meaning being that Bratt introduced this I recall for the posh seats only (not boxes). Thanks for your comment.

Never been keen on dress codes, I just wear what I feel comfortable with.

I think a dress code in these circumstances isn't the best idea, it seems to create a bit of a them and us situation that the owners seem to want to avoid overall.

Im not in favour of a dress code in the boxes, as its very elitist. However I do understand the need for one in certain areas.
