We can sign players up until 31st August

Of course... I got myself all confused.

Askey did say earlier in the summer is either Connell or Ben left they would look again.

And I agree we could do with someone with a bit of height about them.

Fairly surprised by this move, seems to have come out of the blue.  Have Notts lost a CH recently?

I was quite happy to have Rawlinson as a back up central defender, and he certainly looked better in pre-season than Kennedy.

As others have said, Aspins persistence with playing him at RB did him no favours whatsoever.

Rawlinson leaves and joins Notts County. A great move for all involved, good luck to him.

I saw Rawlinson a few times for TNS and he always impressed me. Considering the gulf in standard between the WPL and the EFL I thought he did ok, especially as he is an out and out  central defender bring asked to play full back.

I would have liked to have seen him have more of a chance at centre half, where he may have expected to play after joining us.

However, from where he came it is still a decent move. Good luck to the lad !

Desperately need a bit of a bruiser to cover injury/lack of form if Legge gets injured. Not sure Kennedy is that type of defender. Not sure whose out there and free this late in the window.

Richard Duffy still lives in Norton but do we want him back.

Rawlinson was a capable backup CB but clearly Askey doesn't rate him.

We definitely need another CB now.

Donervon Daniels or Alex Lacey would be nice.

Will probably be Shaun Brisley though!

We need a CH now for cover minimum, Nathan Cameron seems to have left Macc Town... would be an excellent addition.

Good shout.

Very highly rated by Macc fans where he left due to the payment issues... Bury fans also rated him as one of the best centre halves they have had recently but he had injury troubles (hence why he dropped to Macc)

At only 27, local, still unsigned and used as a backup he could be an option!

Would need people to get over the fact he played for Macc, albeit he wasn’t one of Askeys.

Has chronic knee ligament problems. He's had clubs pull out of signing him in the past when he's failed medicals and been unable to get insurance cover.

Jon Guthrie is still without a club I think. Lives local and a big lad.

Interesting comments from Askey about wanting a striker with pace.

I feel we already have 3 good quality strikers in Pope, Cullen and Bennett so I'd like to see a young "chancer" come in to potentially develop.

Great shout on Jon Guthrie for another CB, he'd be absolutely perfect!

Danzell Gravenbirch that was him

He played as the holding midfielder and was excellent.  Built like a brick ****house.

Apparently Gravenberch has appealed for a club on LinkedIn this Summer. He has no agent and looks like he is still a free agent.

I'd have reservations despite his performance against us.

Be almost a throwback to a Bruno signing.

European journeyman with just 2 appearances for Reading.

Tread carefully

European signings aren’t too much the issue, it’s when you overload it with them! Had we signed one or two of the European lads under Bruno rather than 7 or 8 it would of probably worked out alright.
