Smithie said we should have an open day. That might not be a bad call, particularly if the ticket office and shop were also open.

Personally I'd wait a bit. Sort the Manager, sort some new signings, launch positive season ticket offer. Sort the new kit and then arrange an open day. First of all lets get official confirmation of new ownership

The seasons over. Nothing else will or should happen.

The new owners now have a huge 6 or 7 weeks to put things into place.

Manager. Who’s running the club. Chairman. Players contracts. Shipping out dead wood. Signing players. Planning pre season. Pricing season tickets and walk up prices. Matchday experience. Who they want to keep as employees of the club and who they don’t.

It’s a HUGE job ahead. Yet one that I’m sure they’ve planned for and continue to do so.

We’re a broken football club.

We have many many many things higher up on the agenda than an open day.

Maybe next year, great.

Bigger things to plan in the foreseeable future.

Season ticket prices would remain as they are now I would imagine.Would be a real headache to change them now.

they are vale fans so they know everything about the club which is good, they know the fanbase we have so its just getting the stay away fans back into vale park and the most important part is the first team getting the right players in to take us forward. I think they might finish the main stand but the stadium isn't priority straight away

If they do buy the club it will be the first time in my lifetime I have seen an owner of Port Vale who actually support the club and are using their own money. Recipe for success IMO.

If the sale does go through next week let us all get up the Vale to buy season tickets and give a slap in the face to I,m not bothered about season ticket sales Smurthwaite.Show Carol and Kevin we are backing them and help then bank the cash required to improve the club.B&G and One Vale fan can encourage fans who were saying I ,m not going until Mr Blobby has gone to return.Lets start a target 5000 promotion to encourage supporters to back the new owners.

A small list of things I don't want :

1) Promises they can't keep

2) Unrealistic Targets

3) Going into further unnecessary debt

4) Trying too hard too soon

A small list of things I would want :

1) Honesty and Integrity

2) A realistic long term plan

3) A realistic short term plan

4) An achievable plan to repay outstanding loans (their own mainly).

5) A reasonable ticket pricing structure.

6) A smaller squad with quality not quantity.

7) A manager who is given a reasonable budget and the freedom to use it as he wishes.

8) Time and patience from the supporters.

There's lots more of course, please feel free to add your own ideas/wishes.

Says it all really mate.

Not long to wait now, hoping for some fantastic news whilst at work tomorrow and should it happen then I for one wont be able to thank the Black and Gold group and those who have forced his hand enough.....well done to all

Supposed to be news after 11am tomorrow.

Whilst the B+G group have been instrumental, all those that have held up a red card, chanted at games, joined the protests and/ or marches have played a part.

Not completely cut and dry I'm hearing but everybody pray tonight that tomorrow goes to plan and 11am could be very very exciting.
