I've heard some Johnson supporters talking about the need to unite the party and not try to undermine the leader.  Have they forgotten how Johnson undermined the leader by resigning from the Cabinet because he didn't agree with her??

Here's how it will pan out.

Boris first move across the pond to Trump. He will then announce a momentous trade deal with the USA, stating this will lead to many more deals world wide. He then comes out of the EU with a No deal. He never had any intention to agree a deal.

Any one else wondering why Mogg and the ERG have been quiet, because they are advising the Buffoon.

With BoJo and The Don, I can now see how Jim Henson came up with the idea of Staedler & Waldorf.

Anyone still got their Anderson Shelter ? It may come in handy.

I suppose we shouldn't be surprised. There's a comedian running the Ukraine and another foot-free, outspoken, loose cannon in the White House.

What might be interesting is to see if he keeps his Uxbridge seat next time round. He said he'd stop the expansion of Heathrow and most Londoners are remainers.

History tells us that UK voters don't like extremes at either end of the spectrum. Populating the middle ground, with sound economic management and a compassionate welfare system, is the common sense way to bring people together.

Bollards. Wasn't Thatcher at an extreme end of the spectrum? What about (as Jacko pointed out) Clement Attlee (or the Labour leader to get the biggest share of the vote since him, Corbyn)? Why didn't moderate Ed do any better?  All these centrist arguments are fine if you want everything to keep chugging along (or not in the case of the privatised trains) but not if you believe the entire system needs to change, they're palpable nonsense.
