Maybe not, but that isn't our problem. I don't expect Scott Burgess would read this but I imagine Ryan Lloyd is probably aware of OVF. OR maybe Carol, Kevin and John have read it and decided against signing an ex player.

 

With a bit of luck we may have dodged a bullet there.

Hopefully we can start signing decent league players who can start in the first team.

I find it a bit of a joke that players like Crookes can hold us to ransom and his agent Phil Sproson trying to up the anti by saying he has other offers on the table.

He was lucky to play so many games for us and didn’t manage to hold down a regular place at Lincoln.

Looking at the list of released players by other clubs many of them will be lucky to get a contract.

It’s about time these players put pressure on their agents to work hard to find them a deal to secure their future for their families because there are going to be a lot of out of work players come August.

It started as a rumour Aussie.

But that gained momentum when Askey said he's a player he likes.

The Sentinel asked him and he basically confirmed he likes Lloyd as a player but obviously didn't actually say he was after signing him.

Not exactly what Askey was quoted as saying. The article and quotes are pretty clear we were/ are interested.

Welcome Scott!

 

I think people need to remember is centre mid is probably a position in which Askey might feel is less of a priority for key signings - with already having Joyce, Conlon, and (hopefully) Oyeleke. This signing is fine by me.

 

Focus areas are a striker, wingers and full backs.
