Why was Johnson prepared to do last night but not Sunday? Answer - there was no audience in the studio last night.

I see that the BBC allowed an anti-Semitic Imam and a former Labour party worker to ask questions on their debate. Both have been suspended.

Vetting and impartiality don't seem to be in the BBC's rule book.

You couldn't make it up?

Both asked perfectly reasonable questions. Are you saying the BBC should have only allowed white Conservative voters from the Home Counties to ask questions?

The BBC show was successful from my perspective in exposing Rory Stewart to good scrutiny. He has a knack in short doses of being able to be interesting and arguing good points. But in a full exposure his real personality was exposed and he is sort of turbo charged Maybot. We have all had a lucky escape.

The dream ticket is emerging. Boris Johnson as PM with Sajid Javid as Chancellor. The nightmare ticket is Jeremy Corbyn as PM and John McDonnell as Chancellor. We are all ruined if that ever happens.

Boris was rightfully scared of Gove so lent some of his votes to Hunt. So looks like it'll be Boris. Wonder how he'll manage to keep the likes of Mark Francois happy at the same time as keeping his promises to the likes of Matt Hancock.

If I was the 1922 committee I think I'd cancel it and re-advertise the job.

The cupboard is bare of honest, upright politicians of integrity, a record of success and common sense.

Still PM's QT ought to be fun. I used to like watching the Comedians on TV back in the day, like Charlie Williams and Colin Crompton.

No,just ones that are not hypocrites.

My response was deliberately over the top - just as the reaction to the programme has been. My point was that the question the Muslim guy asked was perfectly reasonable and produced a very good response from Sajid Javed who got all the candidates to agree to have an investigation into Islamaphobia in the Tory Party.

In the context of that programme the questioner's social media background was irrelevant. If the BBC are going to have an investigation into the backgrounds of everyone who is allowed to ask a question on the telly, perhaps they should follow up with an investigation into the bloke who is likely to be our future Prime Minister? He has enough baggage - both in what he has said and what he has done - to bar him from any BBC programme at any time in the future if we are going to adopt that strategy.
