Have been in the shop this morning to get my ticket for the Burnley match.

There were lots of boxes from Italy waiting to be opened. Must be a promising sign.

Bit early for pies or pizza 😀

Twitter showing a photograph from an “insider” at the club showing a bulk tagliatelle order, for the players new dietary requirements, plus a couple of cases each of Chianti and Prosecco for the Railway tea bar. #ItsANewEraDontchaKnow

Reveal looks set for today judging by the Official Vale twitter!

Let's just hope the emergency services of North Staffordshire can cope with the carnage when it gets tweeted out and OVF users do a Jonestown massacre due the incomprehensible horror of people seeing the kit. Seeing it. With their EYES. God help us.

I like both kits but the sponsor looks a little too high up on the shirt. Not sure if it’s just the photo/size of the shirts on the players or not.

Away kit is one of the best kits we’ve had for a while. Really love the colour (2 fingers up to Fat Norman) and style is great.

I really like both.

The home one reminds me of the one from the first half of the promotion season, which while plain I thought was really smart and far superior to the cheap and nasty pinstripe/uk windows one we had after Christmas.

Haven't bought a Vale kit since I was about 14 but I'll get both to support the Shanahans.

Just as I was typing "I wonder if there'll be a couple of colours for the gk top like we've had in recent seasons as the released one is a bit Bradford" the club twitter published this. That's quite cool that.

The main thing to remember here is that thanks to Smurthwaite, Carol and Kevin have had to come in and sort this from scratch. Carol has already alluded to the fact that next season these strips would be all ready to go by the end of the season.

I actually really like the strips, they're classy and very smart. I'm going to buy at least 1 to support Carol and Kevin.

Seen some monstrosities from other clubs recently, I mean, look at Stevenage's kits! And Crewe's is literally just a red training top with the badge on it!

Excellent work under the circumstances.

Those goalies' tops make my eyes go funny when I look at them.  Hope they have the same effect on opposition strikers!!

Particularly effective under floodlights or a setting sun across the Hamil goalmouth.
