Who should we sign?

Amoo would be a good signing, just based on his performances against us. Tricky and with a bit of pace, he would probably get 5 or 6 much needed goals from wide right. If we sign him, at least he won't be able to score his customary goal against us!

Now back to signings,IF and its a big if we are in for these players who have been mentioned lately Cowan-Hall,Waters and Durrell for me they would be decent signings..we should be able to pay more than Wycombe and Macclesfield for 2 of those

 

Now lets say add McCallum from Eastleigh(who I have just plucked out of thin air as an out of contract striker) would people be happy with 4 signings like that?

McCallum has signed for Solihull Moors, so it won’t be him 😊

We need to get real here. Scunthorpe are probably one of a good 7 or 8 teams who will be miles ahead of us budget wise next season. If they can’t afford to keep him, we can’t afford to get him.

While that statement is true it’s a little daft... I would suggest it’s the other 91 league clubs we would be competing against, not the dole office.

These professionalism comments keep resurfacing. I must admit I'd love to know what was going on last season as it seems Hannant left for something off field, Miller might have been sacked, Gibbons who knows what was going on, some players didn't want to play, fitness levels not being right, and some of the worst off field activities John Askey has experienced in all his years in football. Not a great read.
