I'm happy with what is going on now at our Club. Having rid ourselves of the vermin that was killing us it was refreshing this morning to renew my 2 season tickets after 5 NEW fans purchased theirs.

 

Askey is attempting to build a squad of players that will work with and complement each other. A speedy winger and maybe a box to box midfielder and hardened defender will see us in a million times better place than when the last season ended.

 

Thanks Carol and Kevin, alongside John, we are rebuilding a hope for the Valiant faithful.

I too immediately thought of certain posters on here when Carol was talking about reading negative comments re. new players who haven't even kicked a ball yet..

 

We all know who these posters are and they would do well to have a listen to the podcast themselves and to take time to reflect on where we have come from and where we are hoping to progress too...

 

Rather than spamming this forum with their constant negativity in the final week of the big season ticket push!!!

It is indeed excellent.  It was particularly interesting to hear their views on Colin Garlick, especially the level of respect in which he is held throughout the game.  Some on here should take note.

Yes Askey confirmed he had already taken Miller leaving into to the budget, so it doesn't free up any extra funds.

I’m thinking right back , winger , winger/striker attacking mid and keeper so 5 players presuming Whitfield and Rawlinson leave

Askey says it will definitely be:

- Keeper

- Right back

- Winger

If Whitfield and Rawlinson go I think we would see more coming in.
