Thanks Barry for great memories being re-awakened. I must say it has brought another tear to my eye reading your fine poem recalling and for me re-living the events of 2011. Sadly the club fell into even worse ownership but now it looks like the latest tyrant is going thanks in no small part to the Black & Gold and the Supporters Club along with the London Valiants. This time under Carol & Kevin new ownership we will be run by good people with Port Vale in their hearts.

 

A case of third time lucky and boy do we deserve a little bit of luck my friend.

Your post that Sunday morning was an absolute breeze to pen into a poem.

 

As you allude Mike, so much of what has been happening under Norman Smuthwaite's custodianship mirrors what was happening previously...spooky indeed.

 

Like you Mike we all acknowledge and thank B&G, NLV, Starve 'em Out et al for leading the charge yet again - plus your lad Kev and Melbourne Valiant too.

That is the problem Barry there are a few who consider the B & G etc are just attention seeking trouble makers but the sensible ones know the truth.
