He walked out of the vale after being signed from the promoted Crewe side who didn’t think he was good enough to play in a higher league to sign for the mighty Kidsgrove Athlectic, where I watched him and he was overweight and useless. Give him some respect he has lost that weight, but I’m sure heading that ball has effected his thinking. The man said that Crewe were unfortunate at Vale Park! Read the stats educated one!

Although Artell is without doubt an absolute cretin he left Vale whilst in administration for Northampton Town in 2012 and didn't play for Kidsgrove until 4 years later in 2016.

Artell isn't a person I take to as a person. But he has got Crewe to a safe place in League 2, so he has done reasonably well. I suspect they will be higher in the league again next year as well.

He is a bit of a penis and driving home to Ibstock after a home game I have P&G on and his interviews are awful to listen too, sounds like he is eating a sandwich as he is talking and classless, he is one I guess you love if he manages your team as he talks like a fan, I guess we liked Micky Adams for being similar in attitude all be it he was generally more honest and classy.

 

Done an ok job with a very on/off Crewe side this season, however I think we would be with them in the table had we appointed Askey when we should have!

Said Leon Legge was bullying his Crewe players yet Artell was an animal when he played.

Needs to teach his players to stop diving to get fouls and playing like pansies to get anywhere.
