David Artell’s comments on radio Stoke saying the match officials were being bribed, and then a red card. This is the man that called all vale fans uneducated and whose the only signed player to walk out of a club that is put in to administration. The guy is absolute loon. Nonetheless his interviews make for interesting listening.

I dislike the bloke more every time I hear him speak.

Having said that, while he's employed at Crwho, we're pretty much guaranteed six points off them each season.

Although I'm a Vale fan, my education and qualifications are far superior to his!

If he is a decent football manager is another question. As we speak, his team are currently 14 points ahead of us, which clearly makes him a better option than the two managers we have employed this season.

 

But to be called “uneducated” by a bloke who couldn’t spell cat (even if you gave him the “c” & “a”) is pushing the boundaries of objectivity too far.

 

Unfortunately as a manager, he is obliged to do interviews with the media. Apart from possibly Kenny Lunt & Mark Stein, Artell is clearly the least articulate member of the football fraternity that I have ever had the misfortune to listen to.

He walked out of the vale after being signed from the promoted Crewe side who didn’t think he was good enough to play in a higher league to sign for the mighty Kidsgrove Athlectic, where I watched him and he was overweight and useless. Give him some respect he has lost that weight, but I’m sure heading that ball has effected his thinking. The man said that Crewe were unfortunate at Vale Park! Read the stats educated one!
