Ched Evans has accepted a pay out of £800,000 from the lawyers who represented him against a rape allegation which resulted in him being jailed for two and a half years.

Thought he would have scored more in league 1 to be honest, if he was drop down i think he would be a snip for somebody maybe like Bradford when they join us in league 2.

15 in 35? I can't see him dropping lower than League one.

Still no public apology from Jessica Ennis.

I think that is a little harsh.

Yes, Evans has been proved innocent, but at the time of her comments he had been proven guilty !

But at the very least Evans, who was supposedly in a steady relationship, had hardly acted honourably by having group sex with a complete stranger which also involved our ex player Clayton McDonald !

Jessica Ennis is a British sportswoman we should all be proud of. She should not have to defend her comments about a slimy two bit footballer who doesn’t even deserve to be employed by the football fraternity.

Whilst to some degree I sympathise with Evans’ predicament, he has hardly managed himself in an agreeable manner has he ?

He wasn't proven innocent.... he was found not guilty..... there is a huge difference.

Going to court doesn't prove guilt or innocence... it's not quite that simple I'm afraid.

You are found guilty or not guilty on the evidence presented.... this case was odd because the judge sidestepped protocol by allowing former sexual partners to be questioned.
