Rang as back from Croatia late this morning.

Sorted  lad his he had a ten match one last year but with him working and under 18 thought I’d reward him with a season ticket to show my support for the new owners.

Will get a ten game one for me self when they are available even if only go max 4 games as I will always want the Vale do well so will carry on my support some way or another.

A big well done to all who have got one ,im impressed UTV

All in I will guess at just short of 4,000 on the deadline...... which is amazing given the circumstances.

4000 would be great considering the turmoil that the club has gone through in recent years.Once fans stop going its very difficult to get them back.So 4000 would be great.Sometimes last season the attendance was barely 4000 on a Saturday that's including counting visiting fans.Week night games even lower.

The Official Site reckons we are at 3,416 now.

If that does not include the sold out VP seats and boxes, etc. then it should get close to 4000 you would have thought.

It is good - considering the rubbish we've had to endure (on and off the pitch) for the last three years.

And we'll probably sell a few more later on, plus the 10 ticket deals and the pay on the gate folk. There can't be many clubs that would have done as well as that at our low level, having just avoided non league football two years on the bounce.

So something in the region of just over 4,000 sold now plus there are usually a few who still get them in July plus the 10 game tickets. Looking really good and a good start for our new owners.Hopefully if things improve on the pitch we can average over 5,000 a game.

I see the ten match tickets have been priced and put in the public domain.

190 Lorne Street

180 Elsewhere .

Will be getting one as thank you to the new owners .

Will not be getting one because I believe in the players as there’s very few who I believe are good enough represent our terrific support.

I did hope that we could get over the 5,000 figure but now realise that some exiles need some sort of proof before they stump up their cash. It is a chicken/egg scenario the more tickets we sell the better the budget. Personally I feel the signings of the two new strikers is looking positive.

Yes I’m getting one .

Just hope we can bring in better than Smith Legge etc as bottom six finish tells us quite clearly that those who represented us last season didn’t amount to much which is fair enough if folk are happy to be losing 1-4 at home to Oldham etc and not putting anything in whatsoever v Macc at home .

We need strong characters ,more personality on the pitch and players who have been and done it .

Yes they cost money but more importantly they give Vale a identity a identity which has not been in my opinion shown in a very good light .

Popes  been a great servant but we need goals from all over the place .

Good football gets people to come the games so let’s hope the players up there game considerably.

I think the problem is mainly down to history mate.

We were told how wonderful it was going to be when bratt came along but crap followed with Miller and administration.... we hoped for a bright future when Smurf brought promises of promotion via his sweety jar but found the club split into sections then threatened with administration.

They say once bitten twice shy...... fans have been bitten many times over the last 17 years and savaged twice..... is it any wonder they are reluctant to believe?

I believe it will be different this time..... others may take a little longer.... it will take time to repair the damage the previous owners have inflicted on confidence but the new owners are pulling it together nicely.

I think 4,000, given the limited time they have had, is great news.

The real deal is what's on the pitch but I believe we are heading in the right direction.UTV
