Split the business from it's biggest asset, it's property.

Put business into administration.

Keep the property and charge rent to the business once someone else takes it out of administration.

Wouldn’t be surprised if there is information about illegal activities about to be produced or something like that. Would make sense as to why he’s now said he’s having nothing to do (although we’ve heard that before!)

If, for example, you know that your income for the year is projected to be £3 million, do you spend it all between August and May or do you budget to spend £250,000 a month during the whole 12 months?
