It sounds like a rogue advert to me.

 

I am going to do some checking with advert providers, switch off some things etc.

 

This may take a little while so apologies for inconvenience while I do this.

MYSTERY SOLVED:

 

It is a problem with one of my advert providers. They have had reports from other sites who use their adverts.

 

They are switching it off now.

 

I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused - things will be back to normal soon.

 

BTW, due to family circumstances I am not on OVF that often at the moment. If there is anything urgent please do feel free to email me at [email protected] as I am not always picking up my PMs on here.

Mine was sorted yesterday,dear virgin media customer. Took my ipad to my daughters to see if she could sort it as she’s more pc savvy than me, then using her WiFi it was dear EE customer.

Went to pc world they said it was something that ovf had allowed on, that’s when I emailed Rob.

Pop up is appearing again.

 

It’s happened once tonight, last time it was all the time.

Incidentally, it’s since this pop up thing that I now have to constantly keep logging in on ovf.

Up to 10 times today and counting.
