Sleepovers must have been organised by parents, despite Dario admitting himself that’s he had sleep overs. Wasn’t it claimed that it was this personal touch that helped them secure the signatures of young players.

And there ‘no adequate explanation why they didn’t come forward earlier’. They are literally ignoring the majority of abuse cases that exist from saville, to Harris to the Catholic Church.

It’s a strange club really. Their fans don’t even acknowledge or discuss this on their forums. They used to bleat on about Vale signing criminals etc under Micky because a couple had been on charges for relatively minor offences. Just like they used to wax lyrical about how scummy we were begging the police for protection at Vale Park and piping up whenever there was news of fan disorder... then totally played down slapping Hornby last year.

 

Literally a sense of self righteousness and that’s the fan base.

 

Man City to be fair are doing the right thing at least. It doesn’t come across right at all. Many victims of various sex abuse charges have only recently come out about it as some people started to bravely speak up about what happened in the 80s, 90s and the trials that followed I guess that coaxed other victims to feel they could now get justice.
