Saturday's Red Card Protest

I didn't accept a red letter notice yesterday and got abuse off the person trying to give it to me. You know I have got lots of other more serious stuff to worry about than Port Vale and living out of area I haven't been following this day to day. So to me this an annoying piece of litter this dude was trying to give to me.

 

So I do get that from looking at the protest at least 75% want Smurf replaced. And there is plenty of valid reasons for that. But his last big mistake was appointing Aspin and most supporters, me included, thought that was a good decision. Hindsight etc.

 

I feel the club can survive this season and Askey is a good appointment. So if this proves to be the case I will probably give another season ticket a chance.

 

I think it is fair to say the supporters missing yesterday were a bigger concern and therefore a change in ownership is likely needed to get them back. Protests need to stay in bounds.

Sounds like the bloke I encountered. This isn't worth taking further from my own perspective.

 

They only need a location Warren. It won't lead to a custodial sentence. The protesters have gone to great lengths to prevent mud being slung at the protest. Not 100% sure, but seems from 3000 cards given out, yours is the only incident of abuse from a volunteer I've read about. Not suggesting you're lying, ofcourse.

It's understandable why Mark wants to know. 2 weeks ago Norman was telling him he should resign as he's responsible for losing 500k sponsorship and getting the club relegated. His intentions are clear. Any way he can discredit the protests and shift blame, he will. Warren claiming what he has, needs looking into. 1. to get 2 sides to the story, and 2. to make sure, if true, it doesn't happen again.

I've misplaced mine but have found a small piece of red card at home so I'm bringing that with me!

 

I like the idea of a black and gold balloon protest. It'd be just as eye catching.
