People should remember that if Oyeleke was consistent he wouldn't be playing for us or at this level. He's always going to be good one game and then poor the next. But he's obviously still learning the game, and along with Brown and Smith, should be a player that the team is built around from here on in no matter what happens.

He was poor up until playing the pass for the goal - and that was after he got a bit of luck. However after that he was tremendous. Think he was just very low on confidence..expecting big things from home until the end of season.

Consistency is definitely not his strong point!

He can be a bit of a luxury player. But he's one of the perhaps two players we have along with Ben Whitfield that can create something from nothing, and you will always need those sort of players and even more so when you don't have much up top.

This has been coming for a few games, thought last week at Notts County we laid the foundations for this result. Over the moon tonight proper football today, i don't think Mansfield expected Miller today.

You could be right there, the late exclusion of Pope probably threw Mansfield and all their homework went out of the window.

Fair play, we won without Pope but we still had the ball in the air quite a lot. Great team performance today.

I noticed that as well. Given the strength of the wind I thought it would end badly, particularly because Mansfield players were all six foot plus. But what do I know eh?

Ideally we would switch strikers about more to confuse the opposition and give Pope`s legs a rest.

Thought we played really well, well done to everyone and he's unsung but we've played a lot better since David Worrall came back. The side has a better balance. Also I think Askey is making a difference. The performances have improved.3 points on Tuesday are still a must though. Then we can breathe a little easier if Macc or NC don't win. Both have tough matches

Yes, one the two great mysteries of the season - how we've not managed to get more out of Worrall. He is just the kind of player we'd all say we should be signing, 28 year-old seasoned pro who has a proven record of winning at this level:

Bury

Football League Two runner-up: 2010–11

Southend United

Football League Two play-offs: 2015

Millwall

EFL League One play-offs: 2017

Individual

Bury Player of the Season: 2010–11

Football League Two Player of the Month: November 2014

This would be a great time for him to come good and drag us out of the drop zone, so well done Askey, credit where credit is due.

The other enigma is Miller. We'll never know what's been going on behind the scenes but if Askey can also get him playing over our final 10 games, it would be a masterstroke.

Great result today, a glimmer of hope.

Completely agree, I will be utterly amazed if we go for it though with Arthur in charge sadly.

I am a little surprised by how some have become carried away with a poor to average performance against the worst football league club last week but the manager surely has to harness that and use it to drive us on with more of a dynamic performance. His dropping of Kay is a glimmer of light which was long overdue and he must show much more of that style of management if we are to become more forward thinking.

Anyone heard from REP?

Last seen walking towards Westport Lake.

Has he gone back into hiding after today’s result.

Brilliant penalty save from Brown lifted our spirits.

Miller up for it against his old team.

Players playing in their correct positions.

Worrall like a new signing and Joyce Manny and Conlon running the midfield.

Smith back to his best and Legge got over the penalty to put in a good performance.
