I believe that Smurthwaite has serious health problems and perhaps should be sectioned for both his and Port Vale's safety. The man is an habitual liar and clearly not of sound mind.

No he,s just a greedy bar steward holding the club and fans to ransom.

He is trying to cream off as much as he can and bleed the club dry.

He has taken 2 million out of the club this year and now holding out for more money from the sale of the club.

We are paying for his incompetent running of the club and previous mistakes.

Why he needed to invest his supposedly directors loans into the club is not justified as there has been no improvement and value added to the club.

He is just using the club as his personal piggy bank and his other ghost companies to hide his money laundering from the fans.

He paid 1.25 million for the club and is leaving it in a worse state than when he bought it.

It appears he is hoping some mug comes along and offers him his 6 million asking price.

At the end of the month he will have to submit his accounts which will be open for scrutiny and show that he is taking more out than he is putting in.

I’d say the opposite. He knows what he’s doing and what he wants. He wants to leach as much out of the club as possible as he has literally no care for it.
