Refreshment Kiosk Boycott

Recommended Posts

In light of the revelations yesterday by Port Vale CEO Colin Garlick, the Black & Gold Group would like to endorse a blanket boycott of all refreshment kiosks at all forthcoming home matches. Colin confirmed that all revenue generated from the refreshment kiosks does not go back into the club. We would therefore urge supporters to not purchase anything from those kiosks whilst Norman Smurthwaite remains in place.

Can we make away fans aware of this too? Maybe via their message boards or twitter etc?

i will do what I usually do. May buy something in Burslem if early enough and may buy at the kiosk otherwise. I don't want to harm Wrights Pies or the staff working at the club. Otherwise this is a trivial boycott, the main event sf season ticket renewal time.

It's far from trivial if you understand why the stance is being made.

So buy Wrights in the town then like lots of fans do before the game.

If you dislike smufgit like most of us, you will affect him anyway you can,he is exploiting you with what he charges for food and drink and has been said, it goes in his arse pocket.

He buys with cash no receipts, and then rips you off at the kiosk with no trace of the money!!! FACT

We aren't the only club that suffers, yesterday Bolton didn't train because they also ran out of food.

Players and staff were told to keep away because food suppliers had withdrawn their services.

There's a big difference though. They are a bigger and more famous name than us, and it's highly unlikely they won't be saved. We are in far more danger at the moment.

The Stags forum are asking their fans not to buy from the kiosks inside the ground.!!! And they are heading for a 2k following.

Good news on the kiosks boycott, the away following will put a few quid in Smurthwaites arse pocket though.
