Synectics bid turned down

To answer your earlier point Melv regards to work done in exchange for tickets etc, perfectly legal as long as they're declared in turnover. If not, it's evading Tax

Thanks for that.I dont really understand accounts / book keeping etc. There will be others that understand what they are looking at.But as it is now its only RUMOURS.It could be that everything is fully legal. But it would be a good point to clear up as unsubstansiated rumours could be damaging and lead to wrong accusations which could also be damaging.

it’s not too far a stretch to think he’s right, albeit for the wrong reasons. Synetics are bidding and their below par (knowingly or otherwise) helps their cause in the eyes of the fans.

Think reasonably, who wants an owner who can’t even afford the purchase price? Only an idiot. Another bid will come (if they’re serious), guaranteed

Or 3 you don’t know anything / can’t prove anything and are just throwing insults around pal. Easy to do when you can’t put rationale into a debate.

Can’t believe you are still defending him after this weeks revelations regarding him turning down a more than reasonable offer and telling Carol to carry on with your day job.

Smurthwaite is holding the club to ransom because he is a greedy bar steward not interested in Port Vale.

He has set up and liquidated companies to try to muddy the waters regarding his seedy deals.

Hopefully he is running out of time as he has to submit his accounts at the end of this month and will be available for scrutiny.

He has taken 2 million out of the club this season and if it isn’t shown in his accounts will leave himself wide open to investigation by HRMC especially if we as supporters demand they investigate him.

Now the Sentinel are publicising his incompetency of running the club he is stuck in a corner trying to wriggle his way out.

He must have ulterior motives for hanging on to the club to hide his wheeling and dealing.

Below par???

So just what would you valuation be.How much would you spend to buy the club in the situation that it is now in? Lets say you have £10m how much would you offer Smurthwaite?

The more they pay, the less they have to improve the club. Paying more just lines the current owners pockets. Ask yourself, does he deserve that?

Who in their right mind is going to bid over 3.5m ?

The amount of money Synectics have in their piggy bank is irrelevant when it comes to whether or not they have the expertise to run the club in a sensible manner. You don't need loads of money. Smurthwaite claims he has loads of money and he is completely **** at running the club

All these last few years I've lamented the lack of proactivity around marketing, but Smurthwaite's recent "I not fussed about season ticket sales" remark confirms where his priority lies. He's a disaster for PVFC.

Now he has come out with that (pathetic incompetent) statement opens the way for his next statement where he can blame the fans when they say about lack of investment in the team.He will simply blame the lack of investment on lack of ST sales. When in reality the lack of ST sales is down to the gormless incompetent deluded self centred Blue Buffoon that has destroyed the club.
