I think you’re deluded. The new owner may not be as rich as Smurthwaite makes out he is, but really he/she/they cannot be any worse. I don’t see how they could make as many mistakes as Smurthwaite who took over a team at the top of League 2 with no debt and now we have a team at the bottom facing relegation out of the EFL with millions of pounds owed to a benefactor who just happens to be the owner.
