Grown men discussing whether or not a fellow is having an affair ! Really ! Spot on blackdog !

People on here are not the figure head of a club that purports to be family orientated,if the rumours are false, Smurthwaite should issue a statement and put it to bed.

According to Radio Stoke, Smurthwaite only enquired about this yesterday and he has to write a 2 paragraph statement too them, although the Councillor said there wasnt much need as the covenant is already in place.

I'd say either protests are rattling him or he wants Coventry to rent the ground off him.

The protests have got him rattled.

I hope he gets someone to proof read it before he sends it.

Very strange, fairly new idea these community assets with lots of variables. May only mean that the community has the use of them such as land unsuitable for building, but the ownership does not change, and the community maintains the asset, as in my local experience in Leics. It will be interesting to find out the conditions for Vale Park, as part of a business.

He's gone onto the BBC website, seen the story about Coventry needing a stadium for next season and (as he always does) has thought about a way to earn a quick buck. He's already been in their local rag this week talking about the situation and painting himself as a good samaritan offering solutions.

Vale Park is plenty big enough to be the home of Coventry City as well as Port Vale next season.

Perhaps Vale Park will be home to league football next season after all.

Good on him if true' date=' I wonder how this will be spun by the owners haters?[/quote']

Here he is,never misses an opportunity to defend the twerp. It was common knowledge that he couldn't tamper with the covenant and as for the community stadium idea, that was mentioned on this forum previously. He's just trying to make out it was his idea.Your mates rattled and you know it.
