Which clubs do you dislike and why?

This could be a long list as I can make a case for disliking every club in the league including the Vale but these are currently on top of my dislike list

Leicester City - Built a new stadium knowing full well they couldn't afford it. Went into administration and offered to pay £1 back for every 100 they owed. This led to points deductions to every small club with genuine money problems. Got promoted whilst breaking the fair play rules. Odious players got their manager sacked less than a year after he'd guided them to to a title which made the players millions.

Newcastle United/Sunderland - Big clubs who never win anything with the so called most loyal fans in the world. Crowds drop off massively when they drop divisions. Newcastle got 14,000 at home when they played Vale in the 90's. Sunderland fan on the Netflix documentary said he'd never give up on his team because he was a proper fan when they were three nil down at half time. He was listening to the game on the radio!!!!

Crewe Alexandra - Obviously. Pseudo intellectual manager. Tin pot ground. 12 year old thugs. And one of the biggest disgraces in football that they desperate to sweep under the carpet.

Swindon Town - The most nondescript place in England. Says something that the most famous thing about Swindon is a sodding roundabout. Always one of the most expensive away tickets of the season and Vale never seem to win there.

Crewe - Never previously had a problem with them before the whole Dario/Bennell thing came into the press and they remain shameful in their denials that anything is wrong at their **** little club.

Liverpool - Most of the reasons mentioned above.

Scunthorpe - Similar to Smugsy's reasons for saying Swindon. Arse to get to, never found anywhere good to go for a pre match drink, we always lose.

Swindon - As above. Plus they should never be forgiven for the stitch up on last day of 2003/04 season.

Hartlepool - See Swindon.

Just for info, Newcastle sold more season tickets on their last relegation to the Championship than they did in the Premier League!

Northampton when they ripped out some seats when we got promoted, who the **** do they think they are.

Any team that has Joe Garner playing for them or Steve Evans managing them.

West ham/Burnley/Villa, any team that plays in claret and blue. I don't know why but every time I see their kits I get a weird feeling that they stink. I wonder if there's a name for that, weird i know.

Never liked Manchester United but especially when they seemed to be at the forefront of the whole commercialisation of the game with their MUFC Superstore selling Ryan Giggs duvet covers. That combined with the arrogance of their glory hunting sheep supporters, all the Fergie time stuff and their unlikable players means that I loathed them (more than Stoke) for many years. I'm a bit confused now they have a relatively nice man as manager and they've been knocked of their perch by Liverpool and City.

Chelsea were immensely dislikable when they had Lampard and Terry. Kind of miss them as hate figures.

Dislike Sunderland for employing a fascist and West Ham for being supported by them (and being owned/ run by scum).

MK Dons, obviously.

Accrington Stanley for being little *****.

Crewe for the paedophile stuff.

QPR because they always lose when I bet on them.

Chesterfield because when they beat us once one of their supporters rang up P&G and made loud jeering noises down the phone.

Stockport because of that offside goal in '93 and because one of their fans complained about me to my manager once.

This is turning in to a bit of a Terry Collier-style list so will stop now.

I really like City. They did (and still do) loads in the community especially for disadvantaged kids, in stark contrast to United whose players refused to give autographs to children who'd waited outside the training ground gates all day. Sherringham actually sped up when he saw them. The City fans I know are a decent bunch and whilst the 'Citeh' professional manc thing can get a bit irritating they've given me some of the best Premier League moments outside of Stoke's relegation. They're worth liking just for peak Balotelli.

Hey I know who Terry Collier is, not many here will. I disliked Watford ever since 1969 as a schoolboy watching Vale there in the 3rd round of the Cup. I was a schoolboy and some guy in his 40s thought it was ok to harangue me and threaten to give me a thump because i dared shout at a Watford player who committed a bad foul. Oh how often I wanted to meet him any time from about 3 years afterwards.

Liverpool similar reason. At the famous FA Cup game in 1964 I was at primary school, 9 years old waiting for my Dad to come out of work at Doultons to take me to the game. A group of Liverpool fans asked me for directions and I told them I did not know. One vile specimen retorted "Hey and you f_ _ _ _ing live here". I repeat I was 9 years old.

Balance it out same year we beat Birmingham City 2-1 the previous round. A blues fan walked me and my Dad back to the station after the game. Nice chap, Div 3 Vale had just beaten Div 1 Blues and he was complimentary about us said we deserved to win gave me a sweet and shook my Dad's hand. Always liked the Blues since then and Brummies generally.

I don’t hate Stoke but I don’t want them to be successful.

The team I do hate is Liverpool the reason being is when Vale played them in the league cup I couldn’t get a ticket for the home match from Vale as I was living in Southport. I was in the Hamil end. And the Liverpool supporters were so vile to the Vale with no reason. Best supporters in the world my arse.

Funny thing is the other half is a Liverpool fan. She knows I hate them so I bought a Everton shirt to **** her off.
