RS **** presenters should be chinned before any future interviews with our manager.Congratulating each other on Saturday’s post match interview was pathetic.Stick to the footie not someone possibly losing their job.Maybe they should be asked if they should be in the ‘job’ they are doing.Protests outside RS?

Can’t remember them asking Gary Rowett if he was going to lose his job.

Dual standards because they don’t want to upset Peter Coates.

Non league to league 1 is quite a big jump though isn’t it. And Shrewsbury sold the vast majority of their squad before he arrived.

We’re near the bottom of league 2.

Unfortunately, his level with Macc is far closer than the gap between us and Shrewsbury.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not thrilled by it. It’s not an exciting appointment. But it never was going to be.

The only manager for me would be Kevin Nolan. Saw an interview the other day and was really impressed. People wanting Harry Kewell? The blokes got to have a worse record than Aspin!! We can't go for a cheap option again, it needs someone to come in steady the ship and fingers crossed get Elliot and Harris scoring goals.

Why is he so short sighted? The money that he saves by hiring some jobber with no league experience instead of a proper established manager will be lost (and then some) when the club gets relegated as a result of hiring an inexperienced manager. Less gate receipts, tv money etc etc and that the club will be worth less if he wants to sell it. A saving of a few grand up front, results in a long term loss. I'm not a millionaire businessman but I can spot this issue

Because Smurthwaite has openly admitted he hasn't a clue how to run a football club. His ONLY interest is what money he can take out of a business he runs. He's a businessman(or at least he believes he is ) and NOT a competent person to run a football club.

Under this Chairman he certainly can do worse. This consistent changing of managers is ridiculous. If we are going to change our current situation calls for a proven manager to get us out of this mess, not a like for like appointment.

No self respecting manager with a proven track record in the league will come and work for Norman.

Not a chance.

Not sure why everyone is so down on a Askey though. He did a superb job at Macc. Can’t do any worse than Aspin, surely?

Nigel Johnson asked Gary Rowett "You could be shown the door if you don’t do something" on 23 September 2018, ten games into Rowett's spell at Stoke.

Radio Stoke presenters tend to defend the manager of all the local clubs no matter how badly they do. Not sure where the false narrative that they champion the Stoke manager and call for the Vale manager's head comes from.

Virtually half of RS pre match yesterday was aimed at Neil Aspin getting the sack.****s.
