Protest against the owner all remaining home games.

Got a poll running on FB and at the moment 185 people have said they would stand side by side and join the protest.

O.k. just looking at an idea to see how many fans would participate in a peacefull vocal protest against our owner. Taking place at the main entrance before every remaining home game at 3pm until 3:20pm, this would give fans who dont go the games because of the owner and those who want to support the protest but also who want to support the team a chance to stand side by side and vent their feelings.

Would probably be better attended if it was from, say, 2-30 till3-00 as some won’t want to miss the first 20 mins of the game.

We need a visual effect in the stands thats why i think 3pm - 3:15pm then hopefully if numbers do turn up then there will be more empty seats than normal, plus nobody will bother aftrrwards and as Saturday prooved Norman left early. We need to make some noise in the build up to the games so that we are heard on the radio, in the stands and more importantly in the directors box..

Smurf would not give a damn about any protest. Money is the only way and with the transfer money still coming in will not be bothered either, as he will divert that away from Aspin and then blame the fans for not attending, so had to use it to keep the club afloat.

I am not a fan of Smurf now. He kept us afloat, but is now trying to sink us with his methods now. Who would want to buy our beloved club for the price Smurf is asking for? Who would be mad enough to is more the point.

I'm glad to see the people who have been very vocal on here against Smurf finally seeking to arrange a visual protest, rather than hiding behind keyboards. To have maximum effect, proper coordination would be very beneficial and I, for one, would be very happy to see a serious visual and vocal movement against Smurf taking place. Perhaps the large flag makers of the past could be comandeered to make a 'Smurf: Get out of our Club' banner which cannot be missed and hung for the duration of all remaining home games?

It's a small point but the very use of the name"Smurf" hints at some tolerance and bizarre affection for the bloke.

It's Norman Smurthwaite, and it's a name that will be winced at for decades by Vale fans.

Prob is, do people really think a few nasty words are going cause him to lose sleep whilst he's counting his money at night. Only way you hurt Smurf is in the pocket.

I agree that there's no point wasting time in trying to press the wrong buttons, but he does have buttons. Just find the right ones.

Totally agree the mans name is Norman Smurthwaite calling him Smurf deflects some of the criticism aimed at him due to this name calling.
