Time for Aspin to go and this is why

He’s brought in Hannant, Miller, Brown, Legge, Dior, Vassell, Dodds, Quigley, Hardcastle, Whitfield, Joyce, Oleyeke, Daniels and Rawlinson. That’s 14 players he has brought in. Of those Dodds, Dior, Hardcastle, Quigley, Vassell, Daniels and Joyce have spent most of their time on the bench or not in the squad. The rest baring Legge, Brown, Hannant and Manny have been bit part players so he’s signed 14 players and 4 were worth signing.

His tactical thought process is deranged. Today we play a side he’s well versed in (as he hasnt shut up about all week about good they are). We organise possibly our smallest players marking their 6ft 4 players and spend the whole match vulnerable to their set pieces and nullifying our own. We play long ball to Pope and Whitfield against 2 giants in the air centrally. We play who is possibly our best central midfield player as a right winger. If you’ve done your home work they have struggled against pace and quick play, instead we play long ball and slow build up.

His approach to games is that we are little old port vale, he doesn’t have confidence that his players can win games and it’s clearly rubbing off on the team. They don’t look like a team that can win games. If all you hear is how good the opposition is then you go into it second best before a balls kicked.

He can’t buy well, he can’t pic a decent team or outwit oppositon and he thinks we are little old port vale. Send him back to Gateshead they are a small team, they have poor players and other teams are all better than them on the whole. Match made in heaven.

Who will Smurf appoint if Aspin goes. Another manager without experience no doubt.

Smurf can't wait for this club to go out of the league. That has to be the answer to the lack of investment in experience. Always going for the cheap option. As we all know - Smurf said he never loses on an investment. Hence the money being taken out of the club.

Our transfer business hasn't been that bad, this squad has players as good as any others in this division. The problem is the wastage of bringing in certain players, tactics and team selections. Its got to stop. This squad is too good to go down, just like IMO the squad was in league one and look what happened there with a terrible manager.

Time to go. Smurf too ideally.

Groundhog Day for Aspin.Goal down after 4 mins and they hit the bar.

Plays both Kay and Joyce with one midfield player Manny with any pace.First two goals came from backing off and them run at us. Should have changed it at half time by bringing Conlon on for Joyce. But no carries on with the same team. Can anyone tell me why Legge is not using his long throws into their box and just stands there waiting for someone else to come back to cover him.Game over when Dodds came on for Pope who seemed eager to get off the pitch to get away from the abuse from the fans for another poor team performance.Christ Neal these are Colchester not Real Madrid.
